Students smiling on a dock

We want to hear from you. Do you have an event you want students to attend? An announcement they might want to hear? A deadline looming that they shouldn't miss?

Or, if you're a student, do you or a friend have a cool club you love, a campus experience you want to share or something you think we should know about?

Hi Western! I my name is Skye Flores (she/her), and I am excited to be joining the Western Washington community. I moved to Bellingham with my partner and our two cats, Kratos and Khaleesi. I am originally from Southern California, and completed my bachelor’s degree in anthropology at Sonoma State University as well as my master’s in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University (Go Green!).

On Sept. 18 and 19, incoming students participated in Camp VU, a welcome celebration that includes activities, games, creative encounters, sweet treats, performances, film screenings and workshops to highlight all the work the VU does in engaging students. This recap is by a member of the VU engagement team, Anna Rude, a fifth-year here at WWU.
